I am a graduate student in the Department of the Geophysical Sciences at the University of Chicago working with Dr. Andrew M. Davis's group on the CHicago Instrument for Laser Ionization (CHILI). Working towards earning my Master's, my research focusses on cosmochemistry and involves isotopic analyses of presolar graphite grains using resonance ionization mass spectrometry (RIMS) with CHILI. By studying the isotopic composition and morphology of these grains, I hope to better understand their formation histories as they pertain to stellar nucleosynthesis and Galactic chemical evolution.

My undergraduate research incorporated high precision isotopic measurements, using Multi Collector Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS), of meteorites. I primarily focused on the potassium isotope composition of meteorites to better understand the origin of Earth, Mars, and the Solar System. As well as, the mechanisms that occurred in the solar nebula environment and those that occurred during the planetary formation stage.
